Hosted by the eloquent Imnsenla Racheal, the ceremony unfolded with a captivating performance by Cantamus Choir, evoking a sense of unity and anticipation among the audience.

Abu Metha, Organising Secretary of NEG 2024, extended a warm welcome to all attendees, emphasizing the significance of the occasion. This sentiment was echoed by JOHN.  F Kharsing, Secretary General of NESA, who conveyed heartfelt greetings to the gathering.

In a stirring address, Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphio Rio, imparted words of wisdom and encouragement, underscoring the importance of sportsmanship and unity in achieving success.

Kitenlo K Thono led the solemn oath-taking ceremony, underscoring the commitment of participants to uphold the principles of fair play and integrity. The raising of flags representing NEG, NOS, and YRS further underscored the spirit of camaraderie and collaboration.

The ceremony culminated with a mesmerizing performance of ‘This is Nagaland’ by TaFMA, encapsulating the essence of the region’s rich cultural heritage.
