Agartala: Former Chief Minister and CPI(M) Polit Bureau member Manik Sarkar said the fall of the BJP government in the center after the forthcoming Lok Sabha election is imminent as all the opposition political parties are coming under one umbrella.
He said in Tripura also they won’t be able to retain two seats as their diminishing strength become visible in the last state assembly election itself.
He was addressing a condolence meeting at Pabiacherra Bazar organized by the CPI(M) in memory of the former Minister Bidhu Bhushan Malakar on Friday last. Criticizing the present BJP government he said the prices of essential commodities are rising every day but the government is not taking any steps.

He also criticized the construction of a new parliament building saying spending a large amount of money for the construction of a parliament building was not the need of the hour when the country is facing so many problems. He also expressed surprise for not inviting the president for inaugurating the building.
