Record 3-0 victory to clinch India’s first-ever series sweep over South Africa
Team India clinched the test series 3-0 win over South Africa today with India bowling out South Africa for 133 in the second innings in the third Test in Ranchi.
India scores 497/9 and declared with big innings from Rohit Sharma hitting a double century and Ajinkya Rahane Century, while South Africa was all out for 162 in the first innings and Indian Captain Virat Kohli could enforced the follow-on.
South Africa somehow survived Indian bowlers onslaught yesterday with bad light ending the day. South Africa was 132/8 at the end of the day 3.
Debutant Shahbaz Nadeem, took 2 wickets with only 22 in the first innings and took two wickets that of Theunis de Bruyn and Lungi Ngidi in consecutive deliveries in his first over today on the 4th day of the match and ensured win for India.
India beat South Africa by an innings and 202 run. Rohit Sharma was declared both Man of the Match as well as Man of the Series.
