Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr Jitendra Singh today inaugurated the Integrated Grievance Cell and Call Center for Pensioners. 

The Centre has been launched for Central Government pensioners at Janpath Bhawan in New Delhi. 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Singh said, this is one of the big announcements in the first 100 days of the government with an objective to make life easy for the pensioners. 

He said, this centre will also act as pressure on the departments to resolve the problems of the elderly pensioners. 

The Minister said, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has taken several initiatives for the welfare of pensioners in the last five years.
