Haflong : The Kuki Students’ Organisation, Assam is greatly saddened by the news of the gruesome death of Late Lalneivah Lenthang at the hands of her worker Shankar Thapa of Haflong Civil Hospital area under Haflong Police Station on the 08th of August, 2023 stated a press release signed by President  Lalhaothang Haolaoi and General Secretary David S. Changsan on Sunday.

 Condemning such a horrific act, KSO Assam requests the concerned authorities to ensure that the human rights of the deceased are respected with a thorough and just investigation into the matter, with proper punishment to the perpetrator.

KSO Assam also requests all  sections of the society to desist from giving the incident a communal colour and instead work together to ensure that such unprecedented untoward incident never occur again.

KSO Assam also offered condolences and their support to the deceased’s grieving family in these hard times.
