Diphu :  MLA of Howraghat constituency Dorsing Ronghang yesterday instated ten religious places which were either newly constructed or renovated under the Assam Darshan scheme in Korkanthi locality of Eastern part of Karbi Anglong yesterday.

The religious structures located in seven different places were installed by the MLA ceremoniously in presence of devotees and local leaders. President of Korkanthi BJP Mandal Committee ,Doloi Engti, vice president Kamson Rongpi, Block Development Officer of Samelangso Block Junali Nath, CLCC chairman Samuel Ronghang, and Tilok Rizald among accompanied the MLA in ceremonial inauguration of the religious places.

The freshly constructed religious sites are located at Tekelangjun Lokhimon Adovan,  Dhentaghat Bazar Kali Mandir, and Temples at Samelangso Dasgaon, Balak Panika  village. 

Dorsing Ronghang expressed his gratitude towards Assam Government for extending financial help for this scheme and thanked Chairman of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Raju Tisso for his help and cooperation. Each religious institution received rupees two lakhs for construction of the site.
