Diphu : Chief Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Tuliram Ronghang inaugurated the three-day 2nd Asomi Bohagi Mela 2023 at Tumpreng, West Karbi Anglong. The exposition has been ordered by the Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission in association with Panchayat & Rural Development Department of Assam Government. 

Inaugurating the event Tuliram Ronghang announced that a package of Rs 50 lakhs each will be provided to every twenty six Member of Autonomous Council for construction of weaving centers dedicated for the Self Help Groups; in adding to this another fifty lakhs to procure furniture for the centers. He lauded the organizers for providing a platform to the groups for selling their products of traditional clothing and foodstuff.     

MLA of Howraghat Darsing Ronghang, Executive Member Amarsingh Tisso , Madhurium Lekthe and other dignitaries were present in the show with the Chief Executive member.
