Diphu :  Certificates and honorarium of Rs. 25,000/- were awarded to seventy five Bihu artistes and nine master trainers of Karbi Anglong who participated at the largest Bihu dance aiming to rephrase the Guinness Book of World Record held at Sarusajai stadium of Guwahati few months back. The ceremony was held at the Auditorium Hall of Arboretum cum Craft centre, located in Diphu town last Friday.

Hill Areas Development Minister Jogen Mohan remained present as Chief Guest along with Tuliram Ronghang Chief Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Horensing Bey Member of Lok Sabha of Diphu constituency, Deputy Commissioner of Karbi Anglong Madhumita Bhagawati, MLAs and Executive Members of the council along with other dignitaries.
