Diphu: Forces of Dillai police station of Bokajan subdivision, Karbi Anglong district recovered ten soap cases filled with heroin weighs 122.14 grams on Tuesday afternoon from a motor van, the market value of the seized narcotic has been assessed by police to be around Rs 10 lakh

Police have informed that a checking was organized based on a tip-off, by the police at Dillai police checkpoint; police later intercepted a van bearing registration no AS 09 C 9521, around 2 pm. After a meticulous scrutiny of the van, police recovered the soap cases from a bag filled with vegetables.

In this case police have arrested one Anim Saha aged around twenty four years, he is resident of Jogendra Nagar of Agartala in the state of Tripura, the seizure was made under the command of Sub Divisional Police Officer of Bokajan, John Das.
