100,000 unemployed people have got jobs- There are 12 medical colleges, one AIIMS and nine cancer hospitals in the state
Diphu : Assam Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma along with his cabinet colleagues addressed a party rally organized by Karbi Anglong district Bharatiya Janata Party at the Sports Authority centre located at the fringe of Diphu town.
The rally was organized to observe nine years of Modi government in power; the rally was termed as “Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan -2023. The meeting was chiefly organized to firm the party grip, aspiring to make certain B J P’s return to power in 2024. The meeting encompassed the entire party leadership which comprised Diphu Lok Sabha constituency.
Nearly thirty thousand party supporters attended the meeting disregarding the extreme foul weather formed due to the continuing rain in the entire region due to the impact of the cyclonic storm. Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma arrived at the venue by road instead of availing chopper service.
The Chief Minister meets the celebrated Karbi author and Ex. Asom Sahitya Sabha President Rong Bong Terang at his Diphu residence and had a wide discussion on various aspects of Karbi literature.
During the genial meeting Chief Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Tuliram Ronghang and senior journalist of Assam Pabitra Bora were present. The Chief Minister later told the media that he had sought the blessings from uncle Rong Bong Terang.
Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma made some important announcements in the public meeting; he said that his government will provide ten thousand rupees to forty lakh women of Assam for becoming self-reliant. He mentioned that due to the robust leadership of Narendra Damodardas Modi the nation has advanced like never before.
“We should appoint Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister for the third time in April 2024,” he said in his speech at a rally in the Diphu Lok Sabha constituency. Because of the strong leadership of the Prime Minister, free rice, terror-free Karbi Anglong, railway stations buried in Dima Hasao district last year but restored within four months and trains could run without hindrance, huge development projects have been undertaken.

He said there are 327,000 self-help groups in the state. There are 4 million women there. This time we will give Rs. 10,000 each to these 4 million women individually to do business. They will get the money from the self-help groups.
The Chief Minister also made a big announcement that the government will pay the interest on the loan taken from banks to run the business. “Some people go abroad and discredit the country but foreign heads of state call our Prime Minister their boss,” he said, criticizing Rahul Gandhi without naming him.
The Chief Minister said he only learned today that TET teachers in Karbi Anglong district have not received their salaries for nine months due to lack of SUI. He said he had not heard anything about the cancellation of the recognition of the medical college.
BJP National Vice President Vaijayant Jai Panda and Chief Executive Member Tuliram Ranghang also addressed the rally and explained the development in the country during the Modi government. Member of Parliament Haren Singh Bey, Minister Nandita Garlocha, Dima Hasao Chief Executive Devlal Garlocha, Assam Assembly Deputy Speaker Dr Nomal Momin, MLAs Vidyasing Ingleng, Darsing Ranghang, Rupsing Teron, District President Ronald Killing, Rudip Ronghang, party leader Ratan Teron and other leaders were present in the mega rally.
