Diphu :  In the continuing drive towards drug curtailment by Karbi Anglong police; today morning at around 6:30 am forces of Khatkhati police station, Bokajan subdivision intercepted  one Chevrolet car bearing Registration no AS 02 G 4447 based on secret input near Gautam Basti locality closed to Dimapur city of Nagaland.

 During a vigorous search police recovered forty eight soap cases containing heroin weighing 625.74 grams. The narcotic substances were kept concealed in the interior of the door panel of the vehicle. Police have assessed the price of the heroin to be around two crore rupees in black-market.

In this connection police have arrested Bhadra Duhotiya aged around thirty two years, resident of Tinsukia district of Assam under various sections of narcotic and psychotropic substance act.
