Diphu :  The CPI (ML) Liberation Hills Party Committee ordered a gathering of opposition political parties last Wednesday at Diphu Club, centering the theme – ‘Save Democracy, Save Karbi Anglong, West Karbi Anglong, and Dima Hasao’.

Political parties representative which took part in the convention were Karbi Anglong district Congress committee ,West Karbi Anglong District Congress Committee , J I Kathar led All Party Hills Leaders Conference, and Joint Coordination Committee for People’s Alliance.

Party representatives unanimously favored putting up a united front to battle against the ruling BJP and attempt to form a sturdy opposition unison to counteract the policies of BJP. The CPI (ML) Liberation Hills Party Committee strappingly damned the Narendra Modi and Amit Shah-led BJP government for its crash in controlling the continuing violent circumstances of Manipur.

Surendra Singnar, vice president of Karbi Anglong district Congress committee, Rajen Timung, treasurer of All Party Hills Leaders Conference, Saising Rongpi, convener of Joint Coordination Committee for People’s Alliance, were among other speakers who participated in the gathering.
