Diphu :   Chief Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Tuliram Ronghang has declared that all illegal appointments made in forest department during the tenure of retired Principal Chief Conservator of Forest Abhijit Rabha has been canceled and fresh advertisement would be published to fill in the vacancies. This was stated by the council chief while speaking with reporters at his official residence of Diphu on Tuesday.

He informed that over 1,600 persons have been found to be illegally appointed under the occupancy of Abhijit Rabha. “Order has been issued to initiate action on this matter,” he said.Refuting media reporters about a scam in the PWD department relating his involvement he straightway denied any irregularity regarding widening of 17 kilometer long Diphu-Dillai-Sarihujan road connecting Birla area of Diphu town with Rongplimplam.

He emphasized that there may be slip-ups in official records. He informed that the Rs. 224 crore Diphu flyover project will be completed within stipulated time
