Diphu : After the row over allotment of land to the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited for setting up the nation’s second largest solar plant now the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council is facing wrath of the local youths of Borlangpher locality, around forty kilometers from Diphu for allotting land for construction of airport.

A section of youths of the locality cutting across political affiliation have expressed their annoyance for not negotiating with the local residents before embarking on the decision.

They are feeling disregard for not seeking their consent before designating the land for the planned airport. They have told the local media that they do not have any opposition in this issue but are despondent because the council authority didn’t consult them before taking the assessment.

The youths have called up the Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council in charge of land and revenue Amarsing Tisso to put off all types of superfluous issues which came up in the case of paying compensation of Four-Lane, OIL and Assam Mela schemes.
