Diphu :  The United Student’s Union of Karbi Anglong has urged Assam government to resolve Assam-Meghalaya border issue according to the demarcation of 1951 to secure life and property of the people settled in the border area; through a memorandum to GD Tripathy, Principal Secretary, Border Protection and Development, Government of Assam in Dispur yesterday. 

The organization has demanded that development works have to be embarked on in the area to facilitate people residing along the border areas with all amenities.  The organization leaders have informed that earlier they gave a memorandum to the Minister for Border Protection and Development Atul Bora on June 09, 2023; but because of his lack of deliberation on this matter they had to take on another way.
