A Northeast-based consulting organisation working in the fields of media and communication, training and development and entrepreneurship development Knowledge Research Centre (KRC) Foundation will organise a think tank session on “Cyber Security Skill Set – To Create Cyber Defence for the Nation” at Rajiv Bhavan in Silchar on Saturday.
The day-long event, which is part of the KRC Foundation’s initiative of “Vision 2024 – Enabling Cyber Defence in Northeast India” is being organised in collaboration with NativeDefence Tech LLP, a company working in cyber security space. Noted personalities from cyber security sector and other fields will be present at the event.
Biswadeep Gupta, managing trustee, of KRC Foundation, said on Friday that KRC Foundation has been working to create awareness of cyber security among people, especially among students and the initiative of organising the think tank session is a part of the same. He hoped the event would help in making relevant students aware of various aspects related to cyber security.
He also informed that there is a huge gap in the market in terms of availability of skilled manpower and thus a huge opportunity of getting employment in the cyber security space.
