NEWS 1- A situation is being created to introduce a uniform civil law across the country. This is a long-standing promise of the BJP government. Stating this, Home Minister Amit Shah said that the government will implement uniform civil law through the democratic process. This law has already come into force in some states. He said that the law will be made after various discussions on this.
NEWS 2- The history of the country should be rewritten by eliminating distortions. The heroic sacrifices of at least 30 native emperors and 300 warriors have to be recorded. The people of the country do not know about these differences. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said this at a meeting organized on the occasion of Lachit Borphukan’s 400th birth anniversary. He said the government wants to introduce such a curriculum. Where national heroes will be mentioned.
He asked Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma to make a curriculum containing all the information about the life of Lachit Borphukan . Courses will be introduced in this regard at the best universities in the country. And this work will be done by the government and no one can stop it. Amit Shah echoed.

Modi said this while addressing a function organized on the occasion of his Lachit Barphukan’s 400th birth anniversary in Delhi. The Prime Minister began his speech in Assamese at the event organized at Vigyan Bhavan.
NEWS 4- Alliance Air has launched Silchar- Imphal flight service from Friday. This service was started from Silchar Airport at 12:30 PM today. Silchar MP’s representative Pulak Das, Chief Executive Officer Vineet Sood, Station Manager Misla Narsingh Rao, and others inaugurated the flight service by lighting the lamp and flag off.
Manjula Das, the first passenger of the flight from Silchar to Imphal, was welcomed and felicitated. From now commuters from Silchar to Imphal can travel by air daily.
NEWS 5- The situation in Shillong has become tense. A candlelight march organized to protest border firing sparked sudden violence. Some miscreants attacked police cars and city buses. They damaged a traffic police point. Seeing the deterioration of the situation, the period of the shutdown of internet services in Meghalaya has been further extended.
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that he has spoken to Home Minister Amit Shah about the border incident. Shah said the Center is taking a decision on the matter soon.
NEWS 6- Three Bangladeshi nationals were arrested at the Churaibari police outpost. While entering Assam from Bangladesh via Tripura, police arrested three Bangladeshi nationals who entered India illegally from Churaibari of Patharkandi police station. Two of them have been identified as Fardin Islam and Ashraful Islam from Nandigram in the Netrakona and Bagora districts of Bangladesh. However, the name and address of another person were not known.
Police recovered from them two mobile phones, fake identity cards from India, and some cash from two countries. During police interrogation, they said that they entered India illegally in search of work.
NEWS 7- The Supreme Court directed the Center to legalize same-sex marriage. In an order, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, YD Chandrachud, said that the central government should take steps to legalize such marriages. The Supreme Court has already recognized such marriages. The court asked the Attorney General to issue this order.
NEWS 8- Borkhola police of Cachar district in Assam confiscated 2 lakh rupees worth of Ganja and arrested two. On Thursday night, based on confidential information, the police recovered 24 kg of Ganja from a Night Super Bus AS 10AC 2941 at the tollgate under the Borkhola police station and arrested two smugglers. The arrested are Najmul Haque of Karimganj and Dinam Dutta of Tripura. The police are continuing to interrogate them.
