NEWS 1-Bye-elections for one Lok Sabha and 5 Assembly constituencies will be held on December 5. The result will be declared on December 8. This has been informed in the notification of the Election Commission. The Lok Sabha seat is Mainpur in Uttar Pradesh. The seat fell vacant due to the death of its MP Mulayam Singh Yadav. Another Assembly seat has fallen vacant in Uttar Pradesh due to the disqualification of MLA Azam Khan.

NEWS 2- Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Monish Sisodia’s personal assistant has been arrested by ED. His house was searched and he was arrested today.Expressing his anger, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sishodia said that it is a conspiracy of BJP. BJP’s real intention is to harass through ED.

NEWS 3- Assam Government Class III Recruitment Exam Result will be declared tomorrow on Sunday. The result will be available on the website of the service at 10 am.  The number of candidates appeared for1,3300 posts is 9 lakhs. The exam was conducted on August 28 last. This was informed in the statement by the Service and Recruitment Board.  Results can be known at www.sevaonline.org

NEWS 4 – This time Sibash Ghosh, the computer operator of Public Works Roads department, was arrested for taking bribe. On Saturday, he was arrested by the anti-corruption branch while taking a bribe of Rs. 5 thousand from the office of Vastu Car in Silchar.  It is noted that from a person named Fakrul Islam Barbhuiya of Berenga in Cachar district Ghosh demanded Rs. 8,000 for making a labor permit license, the person gave Rs. 5,000.

NEWS 5-Assam University Non-Teaching Staff Association is going to celebrate Silver Jubillee.  The inaugural program will start at 10 am on Monday, November 7 at the University’s Bipinchandra Pal Auditorium. Prof. SajalNag, Acting Vice-Chancellor of Assam University will be present as the ChiefPatron.

The Chief Guest will be formerVice-Chancellor Prof. Subhash Chandra Saha, the Guest of Honor will be ShuprabirDutta Roy, Controller of Examinations of the University, and Sagnik Choudhury, President of the Association. NEWS 6 – A heavy duty truck driver died due to electrocution on Friday in Barak Valley of Assam. The incident took place at Sutarkandi in Karimganj district of Assam. The details of the incident revealed that the driver’s name is Abdul Hannan. He was electrocuted while taking the vehicle to export limestone at Sutarkandi on the Indo-Bangla border.

Later, locals rescued Abdul Hannan from the spot and brought him to Karimganj Civil Hospital. The body was handed over to the family after the post-mortem on Saturday. At 2 o’clock today, after finishing his funeral prayers, he was buried.
