NEWS 1- The rift between the Supreme Court and the government has come to light. The Center rejected the 21 names sent by the Supreme Court for the appointment of judges. However, Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju said they have approved two names. Generally, it is seen that the central government does not object when the name is sent for the second time. But this is the first time the Modi government has objected to the name sent by the Supreme Court that too for the second time.

NEWS 2- Voting for 89 assembly seats will be held in Gujarat tomorrow December 1. Voting in this constituency ended on Tuesday evening. This is the first phase of polling in Gujarat.

NEWS 3- Pranay Roy and Radhika Roy have resigned from the post of director of NDTV’s holding company. They resigned yesterday. The position of Gautam Adani Company in this group has become stronger.

NEWS 4-This is the first time that Christians have become a minority in Britain. The latest census shows that Christians make up 42 percent of Britain. Which was 58 percent two years ago. The Muslim population increased from 4.9 percent to 6.5 percent. The Hindu population increased from 1.5 to 1.7 percent. The number of non-religious people is increasing rapidly. These atheists are now the majority in Britain.

NEWS 5-India’s GDP grew by 6.3 percent in the second quarter of this year. This rate is fixed from July to September. China’s growth rate during this period is 3.9 percent.

NEWS 6-New Jalpaiguri station will be developed as a world-class multi-modal transportation hub. For the Development of Railway Stations Ministry of Railways has prepared plans for the upgradation, and modernization of stations of Indian Railways under various developmental schemes. The 204 stations identified include New Jalpaiguri Railway Station under North East Frontier Railway.

New Jalpaiguri Railway Station will be developed to a world-class standard for enhanced, additional, and enhanced passenger facilities. Development work has already started. UTS cum PRS counter and MCO office are being shifted. The existing parking area will also be shifted to the new location. The parcel and RMS office will also be shifted to the new location.

NEWS 7 -A sense of happiness prevailed in the traditional GC College campus of Silchar. The Silchar Gurucharan College was upgraded to a University in the Cabinet meeting in Silchar on Tuesday. After this announcement, the students cheered and danced. There was a festive atmosphere on the college premises on Wednesday. Colours were played and crackers are burst. Today is an important day in the history of the college. Guru Charan College was established in 1935. Today this college is getting the status of a State University. So today there was a tide of happiness among teachers and students.

NEWS 8- Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma inaugurated two vehicles at Silchar Red Cross. Two vehicles were donated by Red Cross Society to Silchar Red Cross Hospital. One vehicle will collect blood from different areas and another vehicle equipped with sophisticated equipment will provide emergency services to patients.
