NEWS 1- Indian Navy has played a glorious role in the security of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said this at a function organized on the occasion of Indian Navy Day on Sunday. He said in various wars, especially the 1971 Pak-Indo war, the Indian Navy had made a huge contribution. Our country’s navy is our pride. Every year December 4th is celebrated as Indian Navy Day.

NEWS 2 – Now is not the time to look for third or fourth grade jobs. Now you have to be an entrepreneur. Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma made this comment at an event in Guwahati. He discouraged unemployed youth to go after jobs but to become an entrepreneur.

NEWS 3 – A businessman of Badarpur of Assam’s Barak Valley region was kidnapped at gunpoint. The incident took place at Sonai Road in Silchar on Saturday night. According to FIR filed, a businessman named Salim Uddin Barabhuiya was going to Sonai Road with a WagonR car on Saturday evening when miscreants abducted him along with the car at gunpoint.

Later, the kidnappers called Salim Uddin’s family at night and demanded Rs. 10 lakh from his brother for his release. Meanwhile, Selimuddin’s brother Nizamuddin filed an affidavit at the Silchar Rangirkhari outpost. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.

NEWS 4 – ACKHSA raised a strong demand for the arrest of Badruddin Ajmal for his repeated anti-religious comments. ACKHSA chief advisor Rupam Nandi Purkayasth strongly condemned the controversial comments and demanded the arrest of Ajmal immediately.

NEWS 5- The Assamese film “Bandhu” was screened in Gold cinema which portrays a common link ‘friendship’. “Bandhu” is an Assamese film imbibed with the perfect emotion of friendship. The Assamese film “Bandhu” produced by Amit Deepak and starring Nayan Neelim was released on November 4 in various theaters including Guwahati.

The Assamese film was held at Silchar’s Gold Cinema Hall on Sunday morning show. The film is based on the story of college life. The 2 hours 16 minute film has already gone viral across the state. It has the business of several crores of rupees. DDC of Cachar Rajeev Roy, Additional Superintendent of Police Subrata Sen, Additional District Magistrate Pankaj Deka, prominent businessman Mulchand Baid and producer of the film Amit Jain enjoyed the film at Silchar’s Gold Plaza.

NEWS 6 – Gumra police bordering Assam-Meghalaya in the Cachar district of Assam have arrested 5 stolen cows on the way to be smuggled from Cachar to Meghalaya. A Mahindra Scorpio vehicle carrying cows was also seized. The Assam-registered Scorpio arrived at the Kalainchara check gate this afternoon and was detained by the police on suspicion. The police managed to rescue 5 cows from the vehicle after the driver fled the scene.
