NEWS 1- Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged to avoid the path of shortcuts in politics. NEWS 2- Bhupendra Patel was sworn in as Chief Minister of Gujarat on Monday. He took the oath of office twice in a row, he was sworn in as the 18th Chief Minister of Gujarat. Governor of Gujarat Acharya Devarat recited the oath to him. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present at the oath taking ceremony. Chief Ministers of 20 BJP-ruled states along with party national president JP Nadda was also present.

NEWS 3- Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu assumed office as the new Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh on Monday. He took oath as Chief Minister on Sunday. Sukhvinder’s father was a driver. His mother was present during his swearing-in.

NEWS 4- The RSS New Member Enrollment Process will proceed. Efforts are being made across the country to infuse new blood into the organisation. RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat made this comment at an event in Guwahati. He said RSS is crossing 100 years. During this time many new people joined the organization.

RSS has always attracted the new generation. He said RSS architect Keshav Baliram Hedgewar wanted the Indian society should be united. If not united, Indians will never enjoy the fruits of political freedom. The sixth generation of RSS cadre is now ready to work in the interest of the country. NEWS 5- 1179 members of two militant organizations surrendered in the Barak valley region of Assam on Monday. After two decades of struggle, more than a thousand members finally officially returned to the mainstream of society on Monday. Brau Revolutionary Army of Union (BRAU) and United Democratic Liberation Army (UDLF-BV) militants surrendered. BRAU was led by Rajesh Charki.

A total of 1,179 members of the two rebel groups surrendered on Monday after nearly six years of negotiations with the government. Among them, BRAU has 634 active members and UDLA has 545 active members. They surrendered their used AK47s and various sophisticated weapons. A thousand and more cadres of the two rebel groups surrendered today in the presence of Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly Biswajit Daimari and Minister Piyush Hazarika on the grounds of Charles March Higher Secondary School of Katlichhara in Hailakandi district of Assam.

NEWS 6- Ganga Aarti will begin in Kolkata this time in the same style taking place in Varanasi. This Ganga Aarti will be held on the initiative of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The place has been selected Babughat. The Babughat area is being decorated on this occasion.

NEWS 8- A discussion meeting on scheduled caste citizens has been held at Silchar Ambedkar Bhavan (Gandhi Hostel) theatre. Lalsing Arya, national level leader of Scheduled Castes and All India President of BJP Scheduled Castes Morcha was present as the keynote speaker in the meeting. Apart from giving a speech on the topic of ‘Nations on the Path of Progress’, he also exchanged views with the people present. Eminent personalities from Scheduled Caste communities were present in the meeting which was presided over by Barak Valley Patni Parishad President Amlendu Das.
