NEWS 1- Controversy continues across the country over Shahrukh Khan’s Pathan movie. Deepika Padukone wearing an saffron dress in a song of this movie has angered various organizations. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and Yuva Morcha set Shah Rukh Khan’s poster on fire. They protested as the Hindu culture was insulted by wearing saffron bikini and dancing.
NEWS 2- For three consecutive days, Parliament has been uproar over the Tawang incident in Arunachal Pradesh. In the winter session of the parliament, the opposition protested in both houses. They alleged that the government was not taking strict action on this. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the government’s role.
NEWS 3 – Congress’ Bharat Jaro Yatra has crossed 100 days today. Now in Rajasthan. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Sachin Pilot along with Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu joined the yatra. 40 newly elected MLAs of Himachal Pradesh joined this yatra.
NEWS 4- Quarrel took place between doctors and patient’s family members at Silchar Medical College Hospital. The incident took place on Friday morning where a 66-year-old man was abused by junior doctors after bringing him for treatment, the patient’s family alleged. 65-year-old Mira Lashkar and her son Fakhrul Islam Lashkar (32) said their patient went to the hospital’s medicine department on Friday morning and was first mistreated by the doctors. They protested and said that they will take the patient to a private hospital.
The junior doctors were enraged by this and beat them up, and even the male doctors dragged Meera Lashkar to the ground by her clothes. Fakhrul Islam’s body was also found with wounds in different parts. Meanwhile, the medical college has complained that the patient’s family members beat the doctor and the doctor was injured. Both parties underwent medical tests and filed a complaint against each other with the police.

Major General Chaman Lal and other martyrs were honoured at Shahid Bedi on the side of Kushiara river in the city of Karimganj district bordering India-Bangla on the occasion of the Victory Day celebration of Bangladesh today, December 16.BSF No. 16 Battalion Commandant KC Meena, Assistant Commandant Yadav along with jawans paid homage to the Karimganj City Association of Shimanadachetna Manch. President Gautam Dey on behalf of Chetna Manch, Editor Arup Roy paid tribute on behalf of Press Club Karimganj. On this day, Victory Day was celebrated by blowing balloons and distributing sweets after paying homage at the Martyr’s Altar at 9 am.
