NEWS 1- The Union Health Ministry has issued some warnings about the covid infection. Some important decisions were taken in an emergency meeting of the Union Health Ministry today. Citizens are advised to wear masks. But it has also been said that no one should panic. Corona virus is increasing in some countries including China. So, the Union Health Ministry is taking some measures as a precaution. Letters have already been sent to various state governments.

NEWS 2- The Union Health Ministry has requested to postpone the Congress’s visit to India in view of the Corona infection. In its letter to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the Union Health Minister said all Covid norms should be followed during the Bharat Joro Yatra. Otherwise, he advised to postpone this journey. The Minister advised to take this measure so that Corona does not spread across the country through the Yatra.

NEWS 3- The Center is trying to stop the India Joro Yatra on the pretext of Corona. Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury made this complaint in the Lok Sabha. He said that they are trying to cancel the journey due to Corona. He questioned whether any corona rules were followed during Narendra Modi’s election campaign in Gujarat. Besides, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in election meetings and rallies during West Bengal elections when two lakh people were infected every day. And now they are trying to cancel the Congress journey by showing excuses, he alleged.

NEWS 4- Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma said that the eviction drive will continue in Assam. Today in the Assam Legislative Assembly, he said that the government will not compromise to evict the illegal occupants. He blamed the Congress for siding with the Occupiers. Commenting that the problem of lack of space is only due to those who have more children, he said, those who give birth to more children are creating this problem.

NEWS 7- Five girl students died in a school bus accident in Manipur. This bus of Thambanu Higher Secondary School met with an accident. There were 35 passengers in the bus. Some students are in hospital with serious injuries. The death toll is expected to increase.

NEWS 8- Firearms seized at Silchar ISBT on Tuesday night. Two pistols with fresh cartridges were recovered from a bag. It is learned that in an ASTC bus coming from Dharmanagar found an abandoned bag while being cleaned and reported it to the Tarapur outpost. Later, the police rushed to search the bag. The news of the gun coming out of the bag created an atmosphere of intense excitement and panic in the area. Various questions are being raised in the public mind regarding the safety of passengers coming from various places including the greater Ramnagar area.
