LinkedIn to downsize 700 employees

Technology companies have been downsizing for the past year, which is a new phenomenon that has hit the industry

Professional networking platform LinkedIn laid off more than 700 workers and shut down its China jobs app. This is the latest downsizing report coming from the technology industry.

LinkedIn reasoned in a blog post late Monday “shifts in customer behavior and slower revenue growth” for the downsizing. 

Technology companies have been downsizing for the past year, which is a new phenomenon that has hit the industry.  LinkedIn is owned by Microsoft.
