The Maharashtra government has asked the officials concerned to take all necessary steps to ensure a normal supply of electricity in the state.

The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co Ltd (Mahavitaran), Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co Ltd (Mahapareshan), and Maharashtra State Electricity Generation Co Ltd (Mahanirmiti) are the state-owned power companies.

The CCOEEEP sent an email to the Maharastra chief minister on Wednesday with a request to intervene in the matter and to refrain from the move for the greater interest of the state.
