Maibang – The ancient capital city of Dimasa kingdom experienced the largest ever gathering of people when Chief Executive Member N C Hills Autonomous council inaugurated RANACHANDI MADAIKO (TEMPLE) PARK AT MAIBANG on Friday. Thus, the long-cherished desire of CEM Debolal Gorlosa to build and develop the area around the historical monolith at Maibang popularly known as Stone House was fulfilled.

This was followed by unveiling of statues installed at the park by the chief guest Debolal Gorlosa. Statues of four rulers of the past viz Raja Meghabalnarayan Bodo, Raja Mayurdhvaj alias Dehgasainfa Thaosensa, Nirbhaynarayan Haflongbar alias Tamradhwaj I, Raja Harishchandra Narayana Hasnusa, Daogah or ministers viz Phonglo Daogah, Kemprai Daogah, Sengyung Daogah and Langthasa Daogah, Statues if the Daogajik viz. Shaidima Daogah, Mairungma Daogah, Banglaima Daogah, Miyungma Daogah were unveiled.
To celebrate the glory of Ranachandi Madaikho and to be the witness of historical event, around 40 thousand people from far and near gathered at Maibang .In this connection a public meeting was held wherein historians, academics, officials all the executive members and MACs were present. All the speakers appreciated the efforts of NCHAC team for the efforts of reviving the history, literature, tradition and culture of our own people which were ignored otherwise. During the programme a documentary on the historical traces of Dimasa kingdom was premiered, video album was also released and book release was also done by the guests present
CEM Gorlosa addressing the media explained the past history of temple and appealed to visit the temple and be blessed.Ashim Dipusa said he was very happy to see Ranachandi temple is being revived to its glory.
