Imphal : Four persons have been arrested along with arms, ammunition, and an explosive in a joint operation of the combined security forces and Manipur police in the southern part of Manipur.According to a Manipur police report, bBased on intelligent sources some arms and ammunition hiding at a certain location in the Kakching district the security forces carried out an operation in the Bijoypur area, Kakching district.

Security Forces arrested 4 individuals along with 1 arm, 18 pieces of ammunition, and one explosive. The apprehended persons along with the recovery materials have been handed over to the Kakching police station for further legal proceedings, the report added.

The search operations were also conducted by security forces in the fringe and vulnerable areas of Imphal-West, Imphal-East, Bishnupur, Thoubal, Kakching, and Churachandpur districts, the report added.
