Assam Rifles medical team from the Hospital provided immediate emergency medical aid to the local individual

On 24 Sep at around 3.30 PM, a local youth of Shangshak village, travelling from Gamnoum to Shangshak on a motorbike, met with an accident at Changa Lamkai village which is approx 15 km from Shangshak. The individual lost control of the bike due to brake failure and was seriously injured. The locals brought the injured person, Mr Thotreichang (age 26 yrs) to the Assam Rifles hospital at Shangshak. Assam Rifles medical team from the Hospital provided immediate emergency medical aid to the local individual. All COVID-19 precautions and protocols were followed during the treatment of the patient.

The locals appreciated the speedy response of Assam Rifles and also applauded the efforts in maintaining security and peace in the difficult and challenging times of COVID-19 pandemic.
