Meghachandra further urged the government to develop and present a concrete roadmap to tackle the escalating challenges in Manipur
IMPHAL : Manipur Congress President Keisham Meghachandra voiced serious concerns over the ongoing crisis in Manipur ahead of party meeting.
Speaking to the media ahead of the meeting, Meghachandra emphasized the urgency of addressing the state’s deteriorating situation, pointing to what he perceives as a lack of commitment from both the state and central governments.
“The crisis in Manipur persists, and it is evident that neither the state government nor the central administration is treating this issue with the seriousness it demands,” Meghachandra stated.
His remarks come on the heels of a recent Assembly session, which, according to him, failed to adequately address the pressing concerns raised by Opposition MLAs. “Yesterday, our Assembly session concluded, but the questions and issues raised by the Opposition were met with indifference. This is unacceptable.” added Meghachandra.
Meghachandra further urged the government to develop and present a concrete roadmap to tackle the escalating challenges in Manipur, reflecting the growing frustration within the Congress ranks over the government’s perceived inaction.
