On the other hand, the memory of the deceased person in the family is visible in the body of another person, which gives an astonishing experience to the family members. It also gives an impression of a person’s successful life, she asserted.

She cited the example of Late Sarungbam Kennedy’s family who would understand very well the self-satisfaction that comes from it. After his sudden death, his kidneys were donated and transplanted to two patients who had terminal kidney disease.

Due to this courageous and virtuous action of his family members, two terminal kidney patients got their lives back, she added.

The governor hailed Mohan Foundation and Shija Hospital and Research Institute Private Limited for their indispensable services by successfully performing difficult surgeries like organ transplantation to save lives. She stated that organ transplant is not only a modern medical method but it is also done in ancient times. She also extended her gratefulness to all the Doctors and stakeholders for scripting such history in the field of medical science.
