Prefabricated construction materials are on the way and will be arriving within a week and a new structure will be seen, the Minister added
Manipur : The construction site of the temporary housing complex, for displaced families affected by the ongoing crisis in Manipur, being set up at Imphal East nearby Sajiwa Jail was inspected by a team of legislatures of the state government on Tuesday. The team led by IPR and Health Minister Dr. S. Ranjan Singh included MLAs RK Imo, K. Robindro, Kh. Loken Singh and S. Kunjakeswor (Keba) Singh.
Speaking to the media, IPR Minister Dr. S. Ranjan Singh maintained that the construction will be ready within a month. The same is being constructed in Thoubal and Bishnupur districts also. He added that construction for the Imphal West district will also be started soon and also said that a total of 200 displaced families can be accommodated at this site.
