Tamenglong Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters, 22 Sector Assam Rifles/ IGAR (E) is organising a pre-recruitment training for male and female candidates to train them for upcoming recruitment rallies for Agniveer and CAPF candidates.

In continuation with efforts of Assam Rifles to empower the local youth to ensure enrolment from the far flung areas of Tamenglong, the Rani Gaidinliu Training Camp is being conducted from 18 Oct 2022 to 05 Nov 2022 at Assam Rifles Battalion, Tamenglong, Manipur.

The main objective of the training programme is to guide and prepare potential candidates to clear various tests conducted as part of recruitment drives conducted by the Army & CAPFs. It is likely that the trained Battalion of the youths of Tamenglong shall one day be part of the proud Indian Army and Assam Rifles.

The Camp shall commence with scrutiny of documents followed by a physical test and skill test under experienced coaches and a medical examination by Assam Rifles medical staff.
