About 10000 pieces of organic cucumber grown in the hills have been collected by the organiser for this event.
Horticulture Minister Th Shyamkumar, Agriculture Minister V Hangkhanlian, and Chairman, ADC Churachandpur T Paukhanlian will grace the event among others.
Renowned crooners of the Paite community across the country have also arrived in the town to enthrall the festive revelers.
It may be noted that over 6000 cucumbers are collected and sold or devoured during the first edition of the festival held last year at the same venue.
This year too, the cucumbers will be served free of cost to the festival goers. However, if anyone wishes to take the cucumber home unsliced, they will have to pay a certain price, said to the organiser.
A release said the festival will be organised by Young Paite Association (YPA), general headquarters, Lamka, Churachandpur.
