The Manipur Government in an order issued has allowed entry of citizens to the state from the rest of the country without a mandatory Covid-19 negative test report for the fully vaccinated people who have taken both doses.

Those with a vaccination certificate for both doses will from now onwards not have to produce any negative report at the Imphal Airport or at the Mao and Jiribam gates. Such travelers from outside the state shall be exempted from the mandatory Covid test.

A person who is not vaccinated or only partially vaccinated i.e. received only one dose of Covid vaccine will not be exempted and shall be required to produce negative test reports at the time of entry into Manipur
