Imphal : In a significant development, 25 representatives of the newly formed ‘Youths of Manipur’ organization initiated a crucial dialogue with 25 Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) from Manipur and the Member of Parliament (MP) who are there in Delhi.

The meeting aimed to address the persistent crisis affecting Manipur, marking a notable step towards finding solutions and fostering unity.

The ‘Youths of Manipur’ organization emerged on September 4, following a gathering at the public grounds of the Social Welfare Club in Khongman Atom Leirak, Imphal East.

The organisation comprising thousands of motivated youths from Manipur, the group has gradually gained prominence in Manipur in very short period of time.

This meeting between the youth representatives and elected officials is seen as an important and positive development in addressing the ongoing issues that have plagued the state of Manipur from May 9 when a peace rally in Churachandpur went violent resulting in a reaction in Imphal that has displaced more than fifty thousand people.
