The Union Health Ministry has issued an advisory to all states and union territories to fill up vacant posts of doctors and para-medical staff in hospitals to avoid excessive pressure
The Central Union Health Ministry had announced to fill up all the vacant posts of doctors and para-medicals in all states and union territories to maintain the global doctor-patient ratio.
In a written reply to a question which was asked in Lower house, Minister of State for Health Ashwini Kumar Choubey stated that the Ministry had asked the states to give incentives to those doctors and para-medicals who are presently serving in remote areas.
Ashwini K. Choubey retaliated that the increasing number of cases for assaulting doctors during their duty hours has come to the notice. Tackling with such cases, the advisory has come up with the immediate installation of CCTV cameras along with 24×7 Quick Reaction Teams with effective communication skills which could become a helping hand to all the casualties and emergency cases in sensitive areas.
The purpose is to provide a sense of security to the doctors and para-medicals during their working hours.
