The government is working to deliver benefits to marginalized people of the society: Finance Minister
Agartala :Mobile vans were given to 5 cluster level federations and village organizations of Gomati district to deliver the services of Common Service Centre in a programme at Udaipur Town Hall on Wednesday.
The programme was inaugurated by Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy. These mobile vans were given to 4 cluster level federations and 1 village organization of Karbook, Killa, Amarpur, Silachari and Ompi blocks of Gomati district.
The Finance Minister said that the government is working to provide government facilities to the marginal people of the state. It is for this purpose that “Prati Ghare Sushason” programmehas been implemented in the state.
‘Amar Sarkar’ portal has already been launched in the state for quick resolution of public issues. The Finance Minister said that people can now easily find out details about government schemes through the internet on their mobile phones.
Finance Minister also said that the government has taken up various programmes for the empowerment of women in the state. Women are being made self-reliant through self-help groups.
