Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Ajit Kumar Ranjan (IAS) has informed to all the general public that, as per Government of Nagaland order in regard to implementation of the Arms (Amendment) Act 2019, all the Arms License holders of Wokha district who has in his possession more than two firearms may retain with him any two of such firearms and shall deposit the remaining firearms with the officer in charge of the nearest police station or with a License dealer or where such person is a member of the armed forces of the union in a unit armoury as given in Section 21 (1) of the Arms Act 1959.

All such excess firearms shall be deposited in the aforementioned places and licenses of such excess firearms shall be surrendered to the licensing authority i.e, Office of the Deputy Commissioner Wokha within 3 (three) months from the date of issue of this notification.
