The Directorate of School Education has notified that the Kohima Forest Division is organizing the following Online Competitions on the occasion of World Environment Day 2021 in order to promote environmental conservation awareness among School Children & the Public.
- Illustrations (Meme/Poster/Cartoon/Signage) – Open for Public & School Children residing in Nagaland – Topic: Environmental Conservation.
- Oratorical (Max. 3 minutes video) – Open for School Children studying in Nagaland only – Topic: Innovative ideas for conservation in Nagaland.
Entries may be submitted through email to kohimadfo@gmail.com on or before 3rd June 2021. Winners will be awarded exciting Prizes and Certificates of Appreciation.
In another notification, the Department informed that the Kohima Forest Division is organizing the following Online Competitions for School Children studying in schools located within Kohima District on the occasion of World Environment Day 2021 in order to promote environmental conservation awareness among School Children.
- Poster Competition – For Students of Classes VI to VIII:
Topic: Environmental Conservation.
- Essay Competition – For Students of Classes IX to XII:
Topic: Innovations on the restoration of Ecosystems in Nagaland.
