Northeast’s to get its second CNG station in Assam after Tripura

Assam is all set to start operation in its first CNG filling station in Dibrugarh. The station has been installed by the Assam Gas Company in Chowkidingee.

Assam is all set to start operation in its first CNG filling station in Dibrugarh.

The station has been installed by the Assam Gas Company in Chowkidingee.

The CNG station will be inaugurated by CM Sarbananda Sonowal on August 17.     

With this Assam has become the second state in the Northeast after Tripura to get a CNG filling station. 

According to reports, after the station in Dibrugarh, the Assam Gas Company plans to open subsequent stations in Tinsukia, Sivsagar, Jorhat, Golaghat and Guwahati.

Currently, CNG price in Delhi stands at Rs. 46.60. The CNG price is comparatively cheaper than petrol and diesel.

It is to be mentioned that economical cars generally promise to deliver an impressive mileage of 26.6 km/kg in CNG mode.
