NRL Presents Interim Dividend Cheque of Rs. 114.76 Crore to Govt. of Assam

Numaligarh Refinery Limited today presented the 1st Interim Dividend of Rs.114.76 Crore to the Govt. of Assam for the FY 2022-23 for its equity stake of 26% in the Company.

Chairman NRL and CMD OIL- Dr. Ranjit Rath presented the Dividend Cheque to the Chief Minister of Assam-Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in the presence of Union Minister of State, Petroleum and Natural Gas- Rameswar Teli; MD NRL- Bhaskar Jyoti Phukan; Director (Finance) NRL, Indranil Mittra; Independent Director of NRL Board Sudip Pradhan and GM (Corp. Comm.) NRL Madhuchanda Adhikari at the State Secretariat. 

Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet stated that ‘since its inception, NRL has been playing a prominent role in the growth & development of Assam. On behalf of the people of our state, I extend my best wishes to NRL for scaling newer heights of glory and achievements in the years to come’.

Earlier on 8th August 2022, the Board of Directors of NRL had approved the payment of 1st Interim Dividend for Financial Year 2022-23 @60% (i.e. Rs.6.00/- per fully paid equity shares of Rs.10/- each) on the paid-up share capital of the Company.

NRL continues to contribute to the development of Assam as one of the leading Public Sector Enterprises headquartered in the State of Assam.
