Diphu : Forces of Borpathar police station of Bokajan subdivision seized one thousand cases of Beer marked as only for sale in Arunachal Pradesh yesterday night, during routine check at Khagorajan checkpoint.According to police the beer cases were brought from Arunachal in a truck having registration number N L O1L7862; the consignment of beer was kept concealed beneath bags of salt.

Police after recovering the liquor cartoons have arrested driver of the truck Jiten Sing and handyman Shiva Kumar. The approximate market value of the seized beers is INR fourteen lakhs.
