On 22nd July 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute over 70,000 appointment letters to recently recruited individuals in Government departments and organizations. The distribution will take place via video conferencing, and the Prime Minister will also address the appointees during the event.

The Rozgar Mela, which translates to “Employment Fair,” will be held simultaneously at 44 locations across the country. These recruitments are being conducted by both Central Government Departments and State Governments/UTs, supporting the initiative.

The selected recruits come from various regions and will be joining different Ministries and Departments, such as the Department of Revenue, Department of Financial Services, Department of Posts, Department of School Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Central Public Sector Undertakings, Department of Water Resources, Department of Personnel & Training, and Ministry of Home Affairs, among others.

The Rozgar Mela is a significant step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to giving top priority to employment generation. It is expected to act as a catalyst in further generating employment opportunities and empowering the youth to participate in the nation’s development.

Additionally, the newly appointed individuals will have the opportunity to undergo training through the online module called “Karmayogi Prarambh” available on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. The portal offers more than 580 e-learning courses, accessible through any device and from anywhere, enabling these appointees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
