Kohima District of Nagaland today launched the Quick Response Team under the District Task Force pertaining to Child labour. at
Launching the District Quick Response Team, DC Kohima, Anoop Khinchi IAS called upon the team to act on the complaint promptly and also to have constructive action plan for the conduct of the mass operations.
The team also shared about the action plan for the conduct of rescue operation in workshop, Garage, Hotels and Restaurant etc. and also informed that if any child found and rescued from any of these places, he/she will be produced to the Child Welfare Committee where further decision will be taken care of by the committee.
The team also decided to come up with proper SOP in order to carry out the operation. Today is The World Day Against Child Labour, which is intended to foster the worldwide movement against child labour in any of its forms.
