Praggnanandhaa drew the 2nd 10’+10″ Rapid game with the Black pieces against Fabiano Caruana. Since he won the first Rapid (10+10) game, Praggnanandhaa defeats the World no.2 Fabiano Caruana 3.5-2.5 in the FIDE World Cup semifinals.

A huge congratulations to Praggnanandhaa on this amazing victory! He will face the World no.1 Magnus Carlsen in the FIDE World Cup Finals. With this win Pragg has also 100% booked his spot in the Candidates 2024 that will take place in Toronto, Canada in April 2024.

Fabiano Caruana will take on Nijat Abasov in the 3rd-4th place match.
