Haflong : On date 25.6.23 RPF   staff of BPB post namely HC / Sudip Bhowmik and HC/ Abdul koonzi during escorting  duty of train no 01666 Ex BPB to  NHLG  they detected one plastic  jhola  fitting inside toilet roof of the   SL coach no  WC 114383  of the said train as unclaimed. on opening, checked and found total 09 packets wrapped with  adhesive tape suspected to be cannabis / Ganja.on arrival of the train at NHLG  station at 22.14 hrs , recovered suspected cannabis were handed  over to IPF NHLG by HC / Sudip Bhowmik   for necessary  legal action.

Recovered Suspected Ganja  brought to Refreshment room for weighment and after weighing of 09 packets  found total 7.010 kg suspected  to be Ganja which was seized by IPF / B A KHAN for further handing over to GRP / NHLG for legal action .Value of recovered  and seized Ganja worth Rs 70,100 / – approx
