Road mishap at Sabroom injures 3

Agartala: In a major road mishap three people including the driver of an Alto vehicle sustained serious injuries are now under treatment in Sabroom hospital.

Sources from Sabroom said that the Alto vehicle had been going along the road to Sabroom ralway station from near the ‘Maitree Setu’ but it suddenly skidded off the road and fell into a thirty feet deep gorge by the road side.

Two passengers as well as the driver of the vehicle sustained serious injuries. After being informed the Fire Service workers rushed to the spot and rescued the passengers including the driver . They were rushed to Sabroom hospital in serious condition.

Apart from this, in a fire accident in Netaji Nagar area of Bishalgarh the entire rented house of business man Asit Saha was gutted.

Sources said that owner Asit Saha had rented part of his house to one Dipak Chandra Dutta who had a gas cylinder in his room which suddenly exploded and caught fire . The police and fire service people rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control and sent two injured family members bearing burn injuries to Bishalgarh hospital.
