Rural bank from Nagaland launches mobile ATM van

Kohima: With assistance of NABARD under Financial Inclusion Fund (FIF), Nagaland Rural Bank (NRB) has launched an ATM Mobile van services at Niuland district on June 2.

The Mobile van was formally inaugurated and flagged off by general manager of NABARD Regional Office, Dimapur, Tiakala Ao, while the ATM was inaugurated by SDO (Civil) Niuland, Relise Sangtam.

Speaking on the occasion GM, NABARD encouraged the people to patronize Nagaland Rural Bank. She informed that NRB was a scheduled bank where anyone can safely keep their money and avail all kinds of banking needs.

SDO (C) in his speech appealed to the bank to reach out more to the unbanked areas under Niuland district and create banking awareness among the populace. He also expressed appreciation on the venture taken by NRB to provide banking services at the doorstep.

General Manager, NRB, Head Office, Pemmichon Nakhedei stated that Nagaland Rural Bank has, through this ATM Van, shown its commitment to serve the people of Niuland by providing doorstep banking services by visiting villages and promote banking awareness and financial literacy among them.
