Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways and AYUSH Sarbananda Sonowal today inaugurated a Digital Banking Unit of Punjab National Bank in Bongaigaon district at Chapaguri Road. After the central inauguration of Digital Banking Units of Punjab National Bank by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 75 districts of our country synchronizing with 75 years of Independence of India which has been celebrated under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated Digital Banking Unit in Bongaigaon.
We all know that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is emphasising digitizalition in all fields majorly comprising the banking sector. Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister also emphasized on government’s efforts to continuously encouraging the banking sector to ensure that the benefits of digital banking reach every nook and corner of the country in a customer friendly manner. Minister Sarbananda Sonowal offers his gratitude to the Prime Minister for his goodwill to cover Bongaigaon within Digital Banking Unit services.
After that Minister Sarbananda Sonowal attended a meeting held in Birjhora Public Library in connection with Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda under the Ministry of AYUSH.Health officials of AYUSH and District Health Society, Bongaigaon, Patanjali Yoga Committee, and Bongaigaon attended the meeting. Minister Sonowal spoke on the benefits of AYUSH namely Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathic treatments. Before 5000 years Ayurveda was the way of treatment for diseases. He calls upon the public to follow natural treatments like Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathic, etc. treatment for our well-being. He says India is famous for Yoga. It works in a natural way. He thanks the District Administration and Health Officials of Bongaigaon for their arrangements.
In both programs Phani Bhusan Choudhury, MLA, Bongaigaon LAC, and Nabadeep Pathak, Deputy Commissioner, Bongaigaon took part. The Deputy Commissioner gave the inaugural speech at the meeting of Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda at Birjhora Public Library.
