The Information and Broadcasting Secretary Amit Khare said on 26th July, Friday, said that year-long programs are being planned to celebrate the world-famed filmmaker Satyajit Ray at all important cities and towns of the country.

It will include a screening of his films, exhibitions, paintings and writings which falls in the year 2021.

Earlier Khare had visited the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute in Kolkata and took stock of the activities there.
